During the 2nd China SF Convention in 2022, SGF organized the SF City Index launch event, officially releasing the 2022 Annual SF City Index to wide industry attention.themed "Fantasy Unbounded, Sharing the Future", focused on the development of the science fiction industry and the cultivation of young science fiction creative talents, providing a stage for university science fiction authors and science fiction communities. The conference was hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology, and co-organized by Tencent, Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, SCIENCE & FANTASY GROWTH FOUNDATION, Science Fiction World Magazine, and Shenzhen University. It mainly included the opening ceremony, a closed-door meeting on the development of the science fiction industry, a symposium on the Science Popularization and Science Fiction Young Star Program, a TED Talk show on science fiction themes, over 30 high-quality science fiction themed forums, university science fiction themed debate competitions, science fiction art exhibitions, and creative markets and other science fiction related activities.
